春节 2014

除夕; Chinese New Year Eve
Early end to the work day lead to a nice quiet stroll along the Causeway Bay typhoon shelter whilst catching glimpses of the sky as it faded into warm shades of orange and pink. There's just something so comforting about watching the sun fade into the horizon because it comes along with an unspoken promise of a new dawn and somehow I know that everything is going to be ok.

I soon found myself joining the flower market festivities going on at Victoria Park. Squeezing into packed lanes while watching stall owners touting their goods and walking through lanes of gorgeous blossoms, it was a pretty interesting to experience the holidays the ways the locals do.

初一; Chinese New Year Day One

Spent hours prancing around the rooftop of my building cause I had this obsessive need for an escape but didn't have the luxury of time. Thank God for rooftops escapades that allows me some form of escapism for a little while. Took some time to catch a breather and to allows my thoughts to roam free once again.

初二; Chinese New Year Day Two
A night full of fun, friends and fireworks. During moments like this, I'm reminded of how blessed I am and how glad I am to be alive and well ♡

初三; Chinese New Year Day Three
3am massages and gorgeous sunny blue skies in Shenzhen to welcome the third day of spring festival.

初四; Chinese New Year Day Four
Went on a cycling expedition and somehow we found ourselves cycling 50km between Tai Wai and Tai Mei Tuk. Trust me, the ride was tough with my screwed up bike and the scorching sun beaming down on us but I just loved everything about today, the gorgeous scenery and the amazing company.
